The one thing that's really annoying me about all this is the serious lack of a wedding planner that's geared toward DIY projects. I mean, I know that organization will be the key to pulling this off. So I'm setting up checklists and making a master calendar to ensure I get it all done in the time allotted, and so that I take things in small bites and not get overwhelmed (if I follow the plan it will all get done somehow). But every single planner out there - including one's I've uploaded from DIY Bride and similar sites - have checklists and planners that say "meet with florist and order flowers" or "meet with baker and order cake." Seriously, I'm thinking that when I get done with all this I should find a publisher and take the planner I finally make public, 'cause those things cost upwards of $50 in the bookstore and I cannot believe there's not one out there for people like me. There's lots of tips and tricks about single projects, if you search them out. I've found templates for making pochette envelopes and such. But nothing for the overall organization, unless my google skills are way off.
