Project: Costuming
When I posed the question about dresses, Nelle emailed me two she's been looking at, which both come in black. One also comes as an alternate of red, the other as an alternate color of grape - no pastels or pink! Or gold lame, which EllenK has informed me is a definite deal-breaker. (C'mon, you mean you don't want to dress up like a Rocher truffle? No fun!)
Like I said, I'm fine with about anything, and these two look good to me, either in black 'cause that's the current consensus, or if you all want to switch to a color I can incorporate that. Thought I'd post the pictures so you could comment and decide:

And again, you don't have to wear the same dress, it's just for color. And since Tracy already has a black dress and these two come in the black, it still makes sense to go that way unless all of you would prefer a color and can find a dress that matches.

Well, being the one who provided the pictures, I am leaning toward the long black dress. I really like it, I think it will look good on me, and I could really wear it elsewhere.
I will wait for a couple more comments before I place the order.
they are beautiful dresses - where did you find them? I'd love to see the long one irl and see if it would fit me ... just a thought

They have dresses for...how do I put this... large women. Which is what I am. Big Beautiful and proud of it. ;-)
Well, I places my order. I got one of each in the black.
Sizing was a little tricky because they didn't have a large selection of sizes. I'll see how these fit.
Who knows, I may have to go back to square one.
Are you sure we can't do that tiered one in purple. I really like purple. Please mommy... huh, please?
If not, I like the one in the consensus. Something about those tiers.
